"When
we run from our fears, we increase them.
Whenever
they win, we lose."
S.
A. Sherwood
A
fear of failure probably causes more failure
than
anything else because it makes us give up.
An
Irish saying says if you run from a ghost,
it
will chase you even faster. But if you turn
and
run toward it, the ghost will disappear.
The
self-actualizing principle of Failure says,
"A
failure is not a failure if you learn from it."
It's
feedback on what we need to succeed.
It's
only a failure if you run from it. Every pain
is
a growing pain if you get its message and
grow
smarter from it.
Think
of some time you ran from a fear of failing.
How
did that make you feel about yourself after?
Can
you think of some time you faced your fears?
Win,
lose or draw, how did that leave you feeling?
