"The important thing is not to stop questioning ... never lose a holy
curiosity."
Albert Einstein
One of the learnings from highly evolved people is the idea of seeing our lives as
unfolding in stages, each with new opportunities to grow. This gives a philosophical
perspective for whatever occurs in our life. We appreciate good times more, knowing that
they won't last forever. When hard times come around, we adopt the perspective of the view
that this too will pass. So we find we can take everything in stride.
We can endure almost anything if we know it's only for a limited time. When
self-actualizers are going through difficult times, they can resist giving up by working
to move on to better times they trust will come. They sense what has been lacking from
their lives in previous stages, and make concrete plans to balance out for that in the
next stage.
When we take the reins, we start to see movement through our life, see ourselves handling
old issues in new ways and from new perspectives, making new and better choices and living
out our life on higher levels.
